How to apply: After submitting your application for a course that meets the requirements, you will automatically be evaluated.

Terms and Conditions:

  • The Scholarships for International Students is granted at the discretion of the University. Successful candidates will receive notification in their comprehensive offer letter, while unsuccessful applicants will not be informed. Students who have obtained a scholarship or sponsorship from another organization for their VU course are not eligible for this particular scholarship.
  • To confirm the scholarship and accept their offer, students must submit the required tuition fee deposit. The remaining balance is due before the course commences. The VU Scholarships for International Students is non-refundable and cannot be converted into cash. Additionally, it cannot be transferred to another individual, course, or starting study period. Deferring the scholarship into a new study period requires a reassessment of eligibility.
  • New students with advanced standing for prior studies qualify for the VU International Scholarship for the remaining standard duration of eligible courses. Students who have received approval to reduce their study load are eligible for a reduced scholarship based on the number of units taken (pro-rata).
  • Those returning from an approved Leave of Absence (Intermission) can continue to receive the scholarship until the course’s end date stated in their offer letter. To maintain eligibility, students must fully pay all tuition, additional fees, and costs by the census date each study period and comply with their student visa conditions.
  • Scholarships are applicable only to eligible students during their VU study period and cannot be retroactively allocated to those no longer enrolled. The University’s decision on scholarship eligibility is final, and there is no right of appeal for unsuccessful applicants or those who have the scholarship withdrawn.
  • Victoria University reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without prior notice.
